DAY 2

  Im still feeling terrible thinking that I will stay here forever, got some new friends. Working as a serf is  really hard, I was pushed to work so hard I got really exhausted. This land was like hell we are really really treated badly. Our daily life as a serf was dictated by the requirements of the lord of the manor. At least half his time was usually demanded by the lord. We also had to make certain payments, either in money or more often in grain, honey, eggs, or other produce. When we ground the wheat we were obliged to use the lord's mill, and pay the customary charge.We as serfs did not receive our land as a free gift for the use of it we owed certain duties to our master.
