DAY 1

  Today is the day where I start working as a Serf. First day was terrible I came to a Giant land don't know anybody and knowing that I will be here forever. The daily life of a Serf is very hard, In theory the lord could tax us as heavily and make us work as hard as he pleased, but the fear of losing his tenants doubtless in most cases prevented him from imposing too great burdens on our daily life as a serf. We were given land ,shelter,fields to farm,and protection from the king. We had many jobs to do such as craftsman,bakers,farmers,and tax collectors, we did all kinds of job. If we did not work we would be punished. If the land is sold or reassigned to a new owner we have to stay with the land. If a new lord took over the manor he would need Us for labor.
