DAY 5

The big problem for us was that we had to do the work for the Lord before we could do our own work. When our Lord’s crops needed to be harvested, our's needed to be harvested, too. The Lord would give us very good food when we  worked good for him.
We had to pay taxes and fees. The Lord decided how much taxes we would pay from how much land the we had, usually 1/3 of their value. We had to give money for fees when we got married, had a baby, or there was a war. Money was not very common then, so usually we paid by giving food instead of money.
Sometimes we had to pay money because of
something we had done. We had to pay a fine
when he inherited money or property. We had to
pay a fine if he became a priest or monk. We
had to pay a fine if his children went to the
city instead of staying and being a serf.
We to give their best animal to their
lord when they died so that their children
would get to stay on the land.
We had to pay to use the lord’s grain
mill and bread oven. We had to pay to use
the lord’s carts to carry their produce. We
were very angry about that.

DAY 4

Its now day 4 I am getting used to it have more friends still tired everyday and really unhappy with my life.We are sort of slaves who normally couldn't be sold away from the land. Putting it another way, we were tenant farmers who, in addition to paying a percentage of our crops as rent, we owed a number of other obligations to our landlord. Among these are our duty to work on the landlord's private lands so many days a month and pay fees for things like getting permission to marry or for one's children to marry. Most important of all, We could not leave the lord's land without permission, making us one step up from a slave. While we had access to the courts, we could only seek justice in the manoral court (run by the landlord) not the king's court (which we tenant farmers could use to sue the landlord in contract disputes).

DAY 3

Trying to get use to the hard environment life seems so hard and tough here, nothing is good. I am exhausted almost everyday we get punished all the time some times we have to pay all the time although we don't have any money. Our clothing is also really bad we have to wear a blouse of cloth or skin fastened by a leather belt round the waist, an overcoat or  mantle of thick woollen which fell from his shoulders halfway down his legs, shoes or large boots, short woollen trousers, A sheath hung in my belt for my knife, In cold weather or rain we wore a woollen hat, and gloves were only worn for their practical clothing value and were padded for use in tasks such as hedging.

DAY 2

Im still feeling terrible thinking that I will stay here forever, got some new friends. Working as a serf is  really hard, I was pushed to work so hard I got really exhausted. This land was like hell we are really really treated badly. Our daily life as a serf was dictated by the requirements of the lord of the manor. At least half his time was usually demanded by the lord. We also had to make certain payments, either in money or more often in grain, honey, eggs, or other produce. When we ground the wheat we were obliged to use the lord's mill, and pay the customary charge. We as serfs did not receive our land as a free gift for the use of it we owed certain duties to our master.
SERFS

DAY 1

Today is the day where I start working as a Serf. First day was terrible I came to a Giant land don't know anybody and knowing that I will be here forever. The daily life of a Serf is very hard, In theory the lord could tax us as heavily and make us work as hard as he pleased, but the fear of losing his tenants doubtless in most cases prevented him from imposing too great burdens on our daily life as a serf. We were given land ,shelter, fields to farm, and protection from the king. We had many jobs to do such as craftsman, bakers, farmers, and tax collectors, we did all kinds of job. If we did not work we would be punished. If the land is sold or reassigned to a new owner we have to stay with the land. If a new lord took over the manor he would need Us for labor.
